It just keeps getting better doesnt it?
Yep!!! Remember those posts I had about robots taking over and the government snooping into our lives? Ok good, I don't remember either. But anyway, check out this post from Engadget. They're coming folks...and we can't do a damn thing about it...
RFID system that predicts future behavior

The point of computers was supposed to be to make life easier, but you wouldn’t know it with the way most people battle their PCs everyday just to keep them working properly. That’s why we love to see technology actually being used to help us out with the little things in life, like opening doors, adjusting the lights/temperature, and cooking our Ramen noodles. At the WPC EXPO 2005 in Japan, attendees and different objects were fitted with RFID tags (pictured) whose movements and habits were monitored and stored as XML markup. The really neat trick here is the system’s software, which has limited abilities to predict someone’s behavior and manipulate real-world objects accordingly. For now this tech is only being used for rather mundane tasks such as monitoring door locks and light switches, but we envision future revs that serve our more esoteric needs, such as learning that Thursday nights are happy hour and automatically telling the alarm clock to let us sleep in on Friday morning.
DOOM!!!!!
