Caw! Caw!

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- U.S. President George W. Bush will unveil a national strategy for bird flu on Tuesday, in a bid to reduce the chance that an outbreak among people could become widespread, White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan said.

All I can say is....this better be good. I mean, do we as a country actually understand the potential devastation that this disease can bring? I try not to be a naysayer or someone who spreads lies that scare folk but...I can't help but notice the popups of the disease in recent weeks. People here in America feel so safe from "them". You know, "those people" outside of this continent. Overseas bad stuff can't come over heeeere where all the good stuff is right? Wrong. It's only a matter of time before some god forsaken bird or some infected person flies over to the states...most likely here in the DC area (yay!) and starts the trend of the avian flu boogie.

More to follow after our fearless leader unveils the plan to save us all...
