Well for those who know much about me, I'm a nerd. I've been a nerd ever since I could remember. But at least I'm a good looking nerd LOL Anyhoo, I heard about this new magazine called
Make and its basically for all those amateurs out there who love tinkering around with gadgets and whatnot and building things for themselves. I am one of those people. I was an aerospace engineering major for 2 years and even though I hated most of the curriculum, I enjoyed ENES101 which me and a team built a wind powered water pump. Those were the days...ah the freshman yearness...anyhow, I'm starting to relive my dormant passions through this magazine, with the help of one of the smartest dudes I know! Thanks DS (scientist at NIH actually). So here are some pics from last week's "Mad Scientist" installment.
We are trying to make a light sensing robot...not too complicated, especially after all my knowledge on robotics and circuitry came back to me.

MouseBot body (aint it cute??)

MouseBot body pose (sodering iron, breadboard, his cameo in Make Magazine article)
More work area shots...MouseBot is getting wheels here...yes that is an eraser being used as a wheel...
Btw..Hot Zone was an awesome book..muahahahahha we're
doomed!
